Privacy policy
This policy explains how information is used when you connect to, pay for, or manage this Wi-Fi service. The service collects only information needed to provide access, secure the network, support customers, account for payments and comply with legal obligations.
Information we process
Depending on how you use the service, records may include device MAC address, access point, SSID, IP address, session times, package selected, data usage, voucher or payment reference, Mobile Money phone number or masked account details, payment status, refund status, support contacts, browser or captive-portal details, security events and administrator audit activity. The system never asks for or stores your Mobile Money PIN.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate devices, activate purchased access, enforce time/data/device limits, prevent voucher reuse and fraud, reconcile payments and refunds, troubleshoot service quality, secure the network, investigate abuse reports, maintain financial records, notify administrators, and meet applicable legal or regulatory duties.
Payment and refund processing
Payments and refunds are processed by the configured payment provider. GlassWave stores the provider reference, amount, currency, status and masked customer account details needed for reconciliation. Sensitive payment credentials and Mobile Money approval PINs are handled by the provider, not by GlassWave.
Sharing
Information may be shared only where necessary with the network controller, payment provider, hosting and monitoring suppliers, support providers, auditors, professional advisers, or public authorities where required by law. Customer data should not be sold for unrelated advertising.
Security
We protect access records, payment references and administrator activity using role-based controls, audit logging, secure configuration and operational safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
Retention
Customer identifiers used for access control, including device MAC addresses, payment contact details and technical IP evidence, are pseudonymized or removed after 90 days once the related access or payment record is no longer operationally active. Accounting summaries, security evidence and audit records may be retained longer where required for legal, tax, dispute or security reasons.
Your choices and questions
You may contact the operator to ask about your access records, request correction, ask for deletion where legally available, or raise a privacy concern. Some records may need to be retained for accounting, security, dispute handling or legal compliance.
